High Holiday Honors

Dear Friends

Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur are quickly approaching. My wife joins me in extending our best wishes for a sweet new year. At Chabad, Services are free and open to all. However, there is great merit in increasing in Tzedakah and acquiring honors during the High Holidays.

Below is a link to a list of special honors that are available for sponsorship and BENEATH THAT the blessings and merits that our Rabbis, of blessed memory, have associated with them. One can purchase the merit of these honors even if they will not be in attendance.

There is no specific "amount" listed; I am leaving it up to your good judgment and generosity. You can acquire one or more of these honors. Chai means life and multiples of Chai is generally encouraged per esteemed tribute. ‘With justice Tzion will be redeemed and its captive through charity’ (Isaiah 1:27). The greater the pledge, the greater the reward!
