Shabbat Chanukah 2025 Form

Please join us for Shabbat Chanukah as we rise together, light together, pray together and celebrate Rosh Chodesh Tevet in Unity, strengthened by our resolve & our amazing community coming together.  The horrific attacks in Sydney have shaken us to our core. Our hearts are heavy with pain, sorrow, and disbelief. We mourn for the innocent lives lost and affected, and for a world that once again feels fractured by cruelty.
The Torah does not rush us past pain.  When Aharon HaKohen lost his two sons on the very day of the Mishkan’s inauguration, the Torah continues: "Bikrovai Ekodaish...Vayidom Aharon"  
With my endeared close ones I will become sanctified...and Aharon was silent.  Not a silence of numbness, but a silence of depth. A silence that says: I am broken, but I am not shattered. I do not understand, but I remain connected.
There is a well-known Chassidic teaching: Light does not fight darkness. IT DISPELS IT!  You don’t argue with darkness. You light a candle.The Rebbe taught that every terror attack, every act of hatred, is an attempt to extinguish light. Our answer is to increase it, measurably, visibly, spiritually.
We have an unbreakable mission! To add light! To choose goodness! To rise again and again!
Because the Jewish people do not retreat from darkness...We transform it into light!
