he Levi Yitzchak Family Center and Library started out as an idea in the wake of the sudden death of 9-year-old Levi Yitzchak Wolowik.  It has since blossomed into a multimedia resource that has changed the way we learn, grow and come together.  In 3 years, The Levi Yitzchak Library has grown to become an integral part of our local Jewish Community,

serving as the go-to place for learning and fun for different ages, all in the merit of a beautiful young boy who loved learning Torah.  With the impact being felt across the United States and around the world, visitors are always in awe of the welcoming atmosphere and collection of over 9,000 Jewish books on a wide range of topics.

In addition, the Library serves as a vocational partner with both Kulanu and Ohel’s Bais Ezra Division.  Their students as well as those from schools around the tri-state area are warmly welcomed each week as volunteers and library guests. LYFC attracts crowds of adults and children who participate in many of the programs, workshops and events that take place on a weekly basis.

The library is designed to engage entire families with a vast collection of books, multimedia activities, programs and creative outlets that represent traditional Jewish values. It inspires visitors of all ages and backgrounds to grow and interact together, in a warm environment of discovery and learning.  It is a place children, teens and adults call their very own.

In addition, the library has teamed up with Merkos Suite 302 to make Jewish books available to Shluchim.  What started out as a trial program with a handful of members has now grown to almost 200 families who order books on a weekly basis.  They are ecstatic when the books are arrive at their door.
